1986 Song Yien Corporation was established.
1988 Cooperated with a Japanese company, Song Yien researched and developed fruit enzyme. Set up an enzyme factory.
1996 Set up cleaning and beauty care products factory.
1997 Started to export and provided toll-manufacture services (ODM/OEM) on enzyme crystal soaps.
1999 Song Yien is very honored to get the one and the only license of food additives for liquid active bromelain from TFDA.
2000 Teamed up with GeneFerm Biotechnology Co., LTD, and established first factory with fermentation equipment.
2003 Established 2nd factory with Geneferm, and started to research on Beta-glucan mushroom.
2004 Completed 2nd factory, and became the largest fermentation and extraction manufacturer for health food supplements.
2005 Applied enzyme and Beta-glucan to beauty care products, agriculture and feed application.
2006 Worked with international partners to develop the oversea market.
2007 Received ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP quality certificates.
2008 Completed clinic report on bromelain about inhibiting thrombosis and alcohol density in body with Providence University (Department of Food and Nutrition).
2008 Completed experiment on bromelain inhibiting TNF-α with Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology.
2009 Received Halal certificate and started exporting to Muslim market.
2010年 Beta-glucan Enzyme Crystal soaps exported to the world, including UK, France, U.S.A, Canada, Saudi Arabia, China, Hong Kong, Macao, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, New Zealand and Australia.
2015 Completed research on Beta-glucan anti-fatigue function with Providence University (Department of Food and Nutrition) and Taichung Veterans General Hospital.
2016 July 26, with the permission of TPEx, GeneFerm Biotechnology Co., LTD emerged for stock trading.
2016 Completed expanding production facilities (two 50-ton fermentation tanks, two 55-ton
fermentation tanks, four 50-ton extraction tanks, two 2-ton freeze dryers, etc.)
